As long as you continue making payments under the financial support arrangement, your credit file won’t be negatively impacted. However, we may need to report it to our credit reporting bureau.
We’re required to speak with the account holder, but you can nominate someone else to handle matters. To do this, please complete, sign and return a Loan Account Authorisation Form.

If you’re struggling to meet your loan repayments or think you may miss a payment, please get in touch with us at least five days before your payment is due so that we can work out a plan that works for you and meets your loan obligations.

Your loan repayments are determined by the amount you borrow, the duration of your loan and the frequency of your repayments – either weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

If you applied with us directly, we’ll let you know the reason your application was declined. If you applied through an introducer, we’ll notify them, and they’ll communicate the reason to you.

Yes, you can, but we’ll need some extra details, including a private sale form and the seller’s information. We’ll let you know what else is needed when we review your application.
Yes, we treat auction purchases the same as buying from a dealer.
If there’s a registered security (money owing) against the vehicle, it likely means the seller still has finance on the vehicle. We recommend getting a Vehicle Information Report (VIR) to confirm the security is still in place (we cannot release this information for privacy reasons).
If the security is still in place, contact the seller immediately. They’ll need to repay the loan in full before we can arrange for the security to be released.
If the seller is unable to repay the loan, the vehicle could be repossessed to recover the outstanding loan.
Once your loan is paid in full and your account is closed, we’ll release the security interest on your vehicle. If your loan is still active and you want to swap the security to a different vehicle, please contact us

Please let us know straight away. You’ll need to make a claim with your insurer and ask them to contact us at info@trinityfinancialloan.com so we can provide them with either a payout letter or vehicle replacement authority, as per their request.
You’ll need to keep repaying your loan in the meantime. If there’s an insurance payout, you’ll need to pay any remaining balance. If there are excess funds, we’ll contact you to arrange a refund.
